I don't know about you, but a get-away is a relished treat that I barely have the opportunity to take advantage of. But the truth is, we mom's sometimes need to steal a moment here and there to re-charge if nothing else. It's best for us and it's best for our families. It's okay to give yourself a treat now and then!

ReplyDeleteGet-a-way...LOL! Not in awhile. I got away for one overnight stay for an anniversary in 2009. Before that was a trip while pregnant in 2007. Besides that, I get-a-way with kids in tow...I feel like I'm missing something if I run to the store without at least one of them. My get-a-ways are only to the bathroom really :P
